Teen Leaders Day Camp, offered by West Essex YMCA, is a specialized program tailored for young teens entering grades 7-9. Situated at Livingston High School and the West Essex YMCA, this camp aims to nurture decision-making skills in adolescents by promoting positive values and presenting them with challenging, enjoyable, and character-building experiences. The camp runs from June 26 to August 18, 2023, operating from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays. For added convenience, before and after camp care is included in the camp fee, available from 7:30 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 6 pm. The program’s pricing structure is designed to accommodate both YMCA members and the broader community, with family members receiving a 10% discount on listed rates. Beyond the structured activities, the camp emphasizes the importance of camaraderie, self-discovery, and leadership.
