The Madison Area YMCA presents its KidsQuest Camps, a series of enriching summer programs tailored for children from Kindergarten to Grade 6. These camps are designed to foster creativity, exploration, and growth in a supportive and engaging environment.
Key Features of KidsQuest Camps:
- Diverse Locations: The KidsQuest Camps for Sessions 1-4 (Drop-in weeks 1-8) are hosted at Drew University, while Session 5 (Drop-in weeks 9 & 10) takes place at the Madison Area YMCA Family Center.
- Traditional Outdoor Camp: KidsQuest at Drew University is a traditional outdoor camp that offers a plethora of activities to keep campers engaged throughout the day. In small, age-appropriate groups, campers delve into activities that emphasize the Y’s Four Core Values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Activities span from STEAM and team-building exercises to traditional and non-traditional games. Fridays are special with camp-wide theme days, ensuring a mix of learning and entertainment.
- Swimming: An integral part of the camp experience, campers participate in daily swim lessons and recreational swim sessions. In the event of unexpected pool closures, water play activities are provided as a substitute.
- End-of-Summer Activities: The KidsQuest Camp during Session 5, held at the Madison Area YMCA Family Center, offers campers a unique experience. They get to enjoy the brand-new gymnasium and pool, participate in dance activities, explore the ninja gym, and engage in STEAM projects, ensuring a memorable end to their summer.

- Registration and Timing: The camps run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
